For children, it’s learning about the universe in the Longo Planetarium, to taking swim lessons in our pool, to getting a head start on college through our Challenger Program for high school students. For adults – both young and older – we provide an affordable pathway for obtaining a high-quality college education. With more than 150 transfer agreements, CCM also makes it easy for students to earn their associate degrees and then enroll in a four-year college or university to earn a bachelor’s degrees or higher. For those looking to transition to a new career or enhance an existing one, we offer a wide-range of certificate and certification programs through our Department of Workforce Development and Continuing Education. In fact, thousands of people each year take advantage of those programs to get a job, get a better job or be more effective in the job their in. In addition, we offer numerous cultural activities and events to enrich people’s lives. That’s the essence of community colleges – providing people with pathways to experience an extraordinary life.
